Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless steel producers in China planned to produce 3.4 million tons of crude stainless steel in 2013, rising by 9.7% from 3.1 million tons in 2012.

In 2012, Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group (Tisco), the parent company of Taigang Stainless produced 10.15 million tons of crude steel including carbon and stainless steel, hitting the record high of the company.

In 2013, the group targeted to produce 11 million tons, meaning its target for crude carbon steel would be at 7.6 million tons.
